Every Two Minutes (collectively with its subsidiaries, “the Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our,”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your privacy through our compliance with this website privacy policy (the “Policy”).  The Company owns and operates this website and provides this Policy for information regarding its data collection practices.  This Policy should be read in conjunction with our website Terms of Use, into which this Policy is incorporated by reference.

Information You Provide to Us

Personal Information is any information that can be used to individually identify you from a larger group, such as data including, but not limited to, your:

• your school information
• comments or messages provided in free text boxes

You may provide us Personal Information when you: 

• request information from us
• download our mobile application
• subscribe to our emails
• register yourself with the Websites

The information that you provide in each case will vary. In some cases, we may ask you to create a username and password that should only be known to you.

Automated Information Collection

In addition to the information that you provide to us, we may also automatically collect information about you during your visit to our Websites.  We collect this information using automated tools that are detailed below.  These tools may collect information about your behavior and your computer system, such as your internet address (IP Address), the pages you have viewed, and the actions you have taken while using the Websites.

This data is used to improve our service to you and to help us understand the performance of our Websites and communications efforts.

c.  Third Party Websites and Services.  We work with providers of marketing communications technology and website performance management. These service providers may use various data collection methods to improve the performance of the Websites and any services offered on the Websites. Do Not Track Disclosure

Other than as disclosed in this Policy, the Websites do not track users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising. Therefore, the Websites do not operate any differently when they receive Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals from your internet web browser.

Your Choices and Selecting Your Privacy Preferences

We want to provide you with relevant information that you have requested.

If we provide subscription-based services, such as email newsletters, we will allow you to make choices about what information you provide at the point of information collection or at any time after you have received a communication from us while you are subscribed.  Any transactional or service-oriented messages are usually excluded from such preferences, as such messages are required to respond to your requests or to provide information or services, and are not intended for the purposes of marketing.

Accuracy and Access to Your Personal Information

We strive to maintain and process your information accurately.  We have processes in place to maintain all of our information in accordance with relevant data governance frameworks and legal requirements.  We employ technologies designed to help us maintain information accuracy on input and processing.

Children

We do not actively seek to gather information from individuals under the age of thirteen (13). We do not target our Websites to children, and would not expect children to be engaging with our Websites or services.  We encourage parents and guardians to provide adequate protection measures to prevent children from providing information unwillingly on the internet.  If we are aware of any Personal Information that we have collected about individuals under the age of thirteen, we will take steps to securely remove it from our systems.

How We Use Your Information

The information we gather and that you provide is collected to provide you information and the services you request, in addition to various other purposes, including, but not limited to:

This Policy does not apply to websites or other domains that are maintained or operated by third parties or our affiliates.  Our Websites may link to third party websites and services, but these links are not endorsements of these sites, and this Policy does not extend to them.  Because this Policy is not enforced on these third party websites, we encourage you to read any posted privacy policy of the third party website before using the service or site and providing any information. Third party or affiliate websites may include, but are not limited to:

• colleges using or affiliated with our services and products
• Facebook, LinkedIn. Twitter, Instagram and other social media websites and platforms.

For Website Visitors Outside of the United States

Our products and services are created for students attending colleges within the United States and thereby we intend for those products, services and our Websites to comply with state and federal law in the United States. However, we realize we may have some individuals from outside the United States view our Websites or provide us their Personal Information. We do not warrant or represent that our Websites or this Policy provide the same protections for your Personal Information as those you may have in countries other than the United States.  We also do not warrant or represent that your Personal Information will only be stored in the United States. Regardless, we will treat your Personal Information in strict accordance with the terms of this Policy. 

Safeguarding the Information We Collect

We take reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards in order to protect your Personal Information against accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.  However, we can never promise 100% security.  If you have any concerns about the security of your information or otherwise suspect your information is being used without authorization, please contact us as described below.
